Busy season in my work - parcel delivery business... concerned that I may leave I received a 16% raise !! Dang, bought off... I still intend to get a new job at the new year... better hours, closer to home... but to equal or better my wage and benefits will be a longer term chore. There are worse troubles to have I suppose.
I am happy and healthy - grateful for my well adjusted and full life. It has been a lot of work to assume a new identity and comfortable place in the world... like a decade long project.

I'm not too impressed with the ongoing sensationalism in media about transsexualism. Most critics lack the intellectual credibility to discuss the matter. So I and others end up with policy based in superficial, reactionary opinion... vs. decades of psychological study. I'm a Navy Vet, not impressed with trans people being banned from military service... or the attorney general recently declaring it is OK to discriminate against me in employment matters.
I get that conservative red neck types always seek a group to vilify and attempt to kick around. However, speaking for myself, I'm a formidable adversary. Simply, no one fucks with me in real life. I project confidence and awareness... backed by the skills to back my place in the world - physically and intellectually.
Like I said, honorable service veteran, 18 years of formal education, own my modest home outright, neither drink of dope, pristine background check. I'm a great neighbor and loved friend... awesome co worker. WTF?!
