Happy Hump Day friends and fans!
I hope everyone's week is going well. I think I may be getting back "on track" after having done quite a bit of traveling within the past 10 days. I always hate trying to get back into a normal routine---can be difficult!
I did a little bit of writing this afternoon so thought I'd share.

Good morning everybody!
I hope this finds you well and in good spirits  I'm good. I've been SO wishing for weather that's not so hot/humid...I don't do well with weather like this! Other than that, I'm good, though.
Yesterday I took a day trip to the mountains. It was much cooler there (Not saying cool! Just more air and an not occasional breeze. Low to no humidity). Today I'm taking a slow day...at least so far. I slept in this morning.
I have many many friends on here and I'm sorry I've not been more regularly and personally in touch. I've not been on so much in recent weeks and tend to be using my Blog as the most central communication right now. Do know that I think of you all and appreciate having you as friends!
I have an image I want to try to share...not sure of it as I'm used to writing longer free verse and poems of late. Maybe I'll work on turning it into Haiku! Or, maybe I'll keep it as is

Hey there Couples Dating friends and fans!
Just starting my day and I have determined it'll be slow mode! I think we're in for rain...not sure (right now the sun's coming out). The way I see it, every time it rains is a time I don't have to water the flowers! Speaking of, anxiously waiting for the flowers I planted in the back yard to have their growth spurt. These are growing from seed and I'm waiting for a variety of wild flowers and for the morning glories and moon flowers. Waiting rather impatiently I must admit! It only cost me $5.75 It was an excellent day though good to get home (easily a "12 hour day" and arriving home after 9:00pm. Cats were happy to see me!)
Well, I think I'll fix breakfast and brew some coffee. I heated up some decaf for my first cup so think I'll brew caffeinated. They say "The best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup". I don't have any Folger's but I've got some other kinds. Gonna go pick one.

Good afternoon Couples Dating friends and fans---and those undecided!
Haha! Tell the truth: that "undecided" part got your attention didn't it?! Humor's good. but especially on Hump Day
How's everyone doing? I'm improving. It'll be a week tomorrow that I had my dental surgery. My mouth is still uncomfortable and sometimes sore. The swelling hasn't gone completely down. My last day for the high power meds was yesterday so I'm only taking Ibuprofen now but that's good for pain and swelling. I'm able to eat more of a variety of foods than I thought I could. In a few weeks I'll start talking with my dentist about dentures. Things will progress!
We've seen a lot of rain in recent days. That means no watering for the flowers so I'll take it! The garden has come along nicely. And finally the "resident birds" made up their minds! As I mentioned a few posts ago, the Nuthatches and the Chickadees were fighting over the birdhouse. The Nuthatches won but it seemed to take forever for them to decide to build the nest after they took out all the materials that the Chickadees had been working with. Finally, they got ready. I believe there are eggs in there. It'll be fun when they hatch! It's been a wild kingdom around here in the past week. One early morning there was a coyote just sitting over on the ground near the wooded area. Then there was a raccoon that climbed on top of the arbor for the birdseed. Three different cats came around on some evenings. Mojo is our alpha cat and he chases them away. Bella? Well, we theorize that she knows them all from the neighborhood up above and probably plays with them!
I think I'll just chill this afternoon. I'm reading a great book by Jodi Picoult (anyone else read her? She's wonderful!) It's called Lone Wolf ( and this book is about a family---or two families I should say. The human family and the wolf pack and how the father is part of both). All this is peaceful and relaxing and all. But, I must get back to thinking about....sex! Who's with me on that?! (Notice how I put that at the end? Let's see how many of you readers read all the way to the end so know I have that on my mind!)

Good afternoon Couples Dating friends!
This is another beautiful day and so far I feel pretty great I thought I'd write another post and I had a "Ta Da" moment: y'all that have Blogs know how so many people glance at our Blogs but they don't make comments? Well, there's certainly nothing wrong with that! Some people continue to visit off and on and some become Watchers (My Watchers: thank you! thank you! thank you! I liked being "watched"---haha!) It occurred to me that it make be nice to go to the profiles of the people that look at my Blog and thank them for doing so! I try to remember to always thank those who comment on my Blog when I respond to their comments. It also occurred to me: why haven't I ever wished those people a Happy Birthday if I see it in time? I thought of this because yesterday I had a doctor's appt and upon check-out the woman wished me a Happy Birthday (and that's not until April 18th!)
I've said before that I think Couples Dating is a community of sorts. Oh yes, it's primarily a dating/sex site. I just think so many of us use it for so much more whether or not we're having meet-ups and encounters. We all have those we like to message or comment on their Blogs. We become Watchers of some. We surely can't claim we had too much snow! I was actually disappointed we didn't get more. That's what you get when you're a Northerner who moves South! Lol! But I don't miss the bad storms at all!

Couples Dating friends/fans/all!
This has been a FABULOUS week for me and I'm truly pleased about that. Now it's Friday with the weekend on our heels and I'm psyched! I don't work outside the home but still my days during the week aren't like a weekend, so I feel the differences in many ways as those that work full-time, and get psyched anyway!
