When in the process of "hooking up" ,a face pic is usually a good safety measure to take as a prerequisite to a potentially satisfying, sexual encounter but it's not 100% fool proof. Someone with malicious intentions could have a series of pictures of the same person leading one to believe they are this person. Men as well as, woman can be susceptible to this kind of deception. A good Idea when in the slightest doubt ,is to ask for a picture of them doing something specific like drinking a glass of water or holding up a magazine, something that wouldn't be commonly photographed.( for those who don't have Skype) This may sound weird, but it's simple enough of a request for someone to comply with, so really, there isn't any reason for them not to oblige you. It's always best to familiarize yourself as best you can before the actual meeting. Sex is one of the only pleasures we have that can be obtained for free. No sense in paying a price when you don't have to. Be safe n "rock on"!!!
