Why is it so hard to find like minded people with whom one can cultivate a relationship ?
Is it really asking for the impossible ???
Ok, we do understand that for the majority of folks around here it might be hard due to the size of their countries and that the "matching" couple might live a few hundred miles away, but for us on the tiny pebble of ours, it takes maybe an hour to get from one tip to the other.
So it's obviously got nothing to do with distances !!
So, what exactly is it ?
What holds people back from at least giving their desires a kick in the back side, and start off with a simple chat?
OK, it's a bit like finding a needle in a haystack, but hey - they did indeed manage to find a needle in a haystack on MythBusters, so why is it so hard for us ?????

We read yesterday that Malta ranks the second happiest nation in Europe.
Now when you look at Malta from the perspective of this site, it leaves us quite gob-smacked.
I swear, we are on absolutely nothing - my first glass of red wine for the evening - but bloody hell, whoever managed to compile that must've been on something !
I mean, whenever that blue moon rises and a Maltese actually makes contact through this site, it's either a fake, an unwanted visitor, or someone that is so ready to bite at your throat should you thread beyond that very fine line.
Guys and gals - chill !
No one's gonna bite

Indeed we do live on a small island, a place called Malta, just south of Sicily, bang spank in the middle of the Mediterranean.
A cool place really, safe and quite chilled out, typically Mediterranean, but as we said before - the down side is a shitty, restricted mentality.

Now why would we create a blog?
Why publicise our thoughts ?
We guess it's all about island mentality. An upbringing where all is known and open, everyone is up everyone's back side, and a private life is as private as Jay Leno's "The Tonight Show".
The frustration hits when you are liberated from that mentality and become a free spirit, because you find yourselves one of a very few within the breed.
Yes, we are a happily married couple that live on a tiny island. We have learnt to differentiate between making love and having sex, and enjoy both. Finding the right partners is a daunting task though, especially when you bear in mind an island mentality.
Spit it out, spill the beans - let your spirits go.
We'll take it from here
