As a quick catch up to the story of my ex roommate who ended up in jail from Closing the chapter, he's out of jail because his parents dropped the charges. He showed back up at our house, and was told he was no longer welcome. It took about a month, but he finally picked up the last of his stuff and we haven't heard from or seen him since.

In follow up to It39s not my fault HA, my taking in of a mother and her two kittens. You'll be happy to hear that Bonnie and Clyde still live happily in our home. Lil Bit, the mom, wasn't fond of being an indoor cat, so she's been fixed and is living happily in the neighborhood. We see her daily at feeding times, she seems to be doing well.

We've also started working with the Pet Alliance to fix the rest of these strays. Whomever I can catch gets brought in and fixed, then we bring them home and keep feeding them. It's a win win, we're helping to control the cat population and the cats know they always have a meal twice a day at my house.

There was a period of time where I thought I may get chickens. You know, so I can feed them the scraps of my garden and harvest their compost to grow more? Plus, eggs. Well, I live on a lot that is less than a quarter of an acre in an urban area and feed about twelve stray cats. That helped me come to the wise decision that chickens weren't such a great idea. Besides, I don't really eat eggs, unless they're baked in something...like cookies.

I've really gotten into gardening, ya'll. Like heavily into gardening. I have six different types of tomatoes that are still going strong (Gotta love that sub tropical weather~in the winter); three different types of peppers; three kinds of lettuce; cabbage; peas; green beans; all the herbs; broccolini; onions; potatoes; carrots; celery; pineapple; lemon; orange; moringa; passion fruit; banana; papaya; blueberries; blackberries; and a whole bunch of flowers for the pollinators (gotta take care of them bees, we need 'em). I grew more during the summer, but as the weather changed..so has the variety of veggies I can grow. No fertilizer beyond compost, and not even one pesticide. That's right, she's organic.

So, here's the thing, I have NEVER gardened successfully before in my life. I tried many times over the last fifty years of my life, and used to joke about having a black thumb. Then, this summer, I got a diagnosis of low vitamin d, and decided I needed to to something that took me outside more. (I used to go for walks, but post heart attack...that's been difficult in the summer here.). Youtube helped me turn my black thumb green, and now I'm the envy of many of my neighbors.

I have even gotten into food preservation. I haven't reached the canning stage and doubt that I will because your girl no likey mushy vegetables. However, I've dehydrated and frozen so many veggies, herbs, and fruits that I won't have to shop for any besides the stuff that I just can't seem to grow. Ya know, like corn. Corn is hard, ya'll. Especially when you have a creek behind your house that brings the ducks into your back yard. Dear lort, when the doctor asks me what I'm doing for exercise, I now say โ€œchasing ducksโ€. They're everywhere. Grrrr.

So, I've thought about this and realized that I've missed writing. It was always such a good outlet for me. However, now that my interest in sex has waned to almost non existent for now at least, I don't know that this is the site for me. But, then, there's also the whole this is where I feel the most comfortable posting my writing thing. So, conundrum.

Do I continue to write and post here, even if it's not related to sex? Or, do I find another outlet for said writing?

My gut says stay for however long it makes me happy. But, what do you think?

Gardening feeds us in so many different ways my friend and planting fresh vegetables and fruit is just one way to do that.. Write what you feel, how you think whether it has anything to do with sex or not. It is a form of expression that connects us with others and can be most theraputic.. xoxo

EnigmaInitiative replies on 12/5/2021 3:31 pm:
Gardening does feed us in more ways than one, that's for sure. I read an article that said soil may have some anti depressant qualities as well.

Thanks, I'm here for now.

I see no reason to give up writing on this site just because you are not in the mood for sex. Also at least on this site you can talk of sexual things if the mood fits your fancy. I am not looking for sex on this site but stay because of the bloggers I love to read and chat with along with my being an exhibitionist and voyeur. So please do stay and write up a post once in a while. (But not too long in between please.)

If you see me in the real world, come say "Hi Justskin."

I always behave. Preferably not well.

You're right, I was gone far too long. And, I'll try not to do so again, but no promises.

The best suggestion I have for gardening is, let the professionals do it and spend your time cultivating happy moments in your minds garden.

Everyone in life has a trail to blaze.

Happy Trails

Well, I like to garden, so I guess that's my trail to blaze.

There's a lot of non-sex here in blogland, so I'd keep going.

Hey! If some people can post 10 internet pictures multiple times a day (or an hour), then you can post about gardening and kittens. It's your blog. Even the site doesn't say blogs have to be sexual.

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

EnigmaInitiative replies on 12/5/2021 3:35 pm:
Too true, too true.

Thanks for the advice!

It's your space to use as you wish. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘
Are there any other public places that you can blog? I've been looking into that option and haven't found any space suitable. ๐Ÿค”

... is there another way to look at it

Thanks, you're right, it is.

There used to be livejournal back in the day, but that's dead now.

Besides Fetlife which doesn't have the same kind of vibes when it comes to blogging, I don't know that there's another place

I find your blogs infinitely more interesting than those that post nothing but stolen pics from the internet. But I like to read, so there's that. lol Plus I enjoy gardening. Well, I used to. I don't really have a place for it now. My vote is for you to stay and post whatever you feel like posting. It's not like you're taking space away from some other blogger and none of them have a right to tell you what you can post.
Good to see you back!

Hi pagan, it's good to see you.

Thank you, I'm a reader too, so I get it.

I'm going to stay, at least for now. Who knows what will happen when this new community rolls out, I've not heard good things.

Happy Monday

My son and grand daughters moved out the end of April last year and it's been heaven. I don't have anything against having a roommate, but I've never had anything similar to yours. Who needs that? I hope you stay and write some more, you've been a missing ingredient.

EnigmaInitiative replies on 12/6/2021 6:49 am:
Yay for your release into having the privacy you've wanted.

And, honestly, that just warmed the hell out of my heart. Thank you

Amen the ex roommate is gone!
Wahoo on the kitties! Thank you for realizing some kitties prefer a feral life. I take in only feral cats for farm life. All get altered. They have multiple building with soft beds for a snooze and all the food and water they want. They return the favor by killing rodents and such.
Your garden sounds incredible! I am envious. Please share pics when you can.

I want you to keep blogging. Come give us a report about your vegetable garden. A kitty update. I am interested in YOU. The human finding a new path.

Crikey girl, I don't think ANYONE is having sex here so blog away about your veggies and I'll blog away about my travels!

EnigmaInitiative replies on 12/6/2021 7:19 am:
You're right...I don't see all that many people on here writing about the sex they're having. I see a whole lot of talk about this new community or whatever, though.

I'm guessing there wasn't much travel during the height of the panorama, but I'll have to see what you're up to now.

I'm going to take pics of it soon, and will make updates, as I've decided to stay for now.

Soooo.....can I move in? Your place really does sound heavenly for the kitties. I have a shed with some beds around, and have repurposed old Styrofoam coolers into "kitty houses", and then there's my small greenhouse that they've taken over, but nothing like a whole farm for them. I'd love it.

Cats are like my spirit animal, I totally get it as I can be described as feral...at times.

Thanks though, I'm going to stick around
