Let me remind all readers of this next post...
Today's date is 10/29...
It's JUST before Halloween....
And I'm freaking snowed in and missing some of the most fun I had planned this entire month!!!! Was supposed to be snowed in with someone, but I think she lost power before that was even an option. lol.
Now I'm stuck at home in front of a space heater while I still have power, hoping to g-d that I don't lose power...

Don't feel like renewing, but don't want to lose my membership....
So... I'm writing this blog 
I don't really know what to say other than this site has let me down lately... Some people have not come through when they said they would.. This is disappointing because, well... I dunno, I just feel like if you say you're gonna meet, you shouldn't magically disappear the day before hand.... Oh well.
Regardless, I'm 27 now, and I should have probably learned that this would happen.... Ya, I had a birthday, woo.

How's everyone doing this month?? I'm doing okay, just doing my community service (ha!) and writing a blog post...
Seriously now.. why is it that whenever I'm feeling lonely, I can't find anyone, but the second I do find one person and don't feel as lonely... 5 other people come rushing in and confuse everything?? (every single time!)
I've heard so many times that my lonely feelings directly correlate to how attractive I am, or appear... but how the F does that work?
Women: do you smell something when a guy's confident? 
Men: Agree or disagree that when you're feeling desperate, no one's around.. but the second you're "all set"... You're fighting them off with your stick!

I don't get how come I get SO many "views" of my profile from people that have no intention of ever actually speaking to me...
Drives me a little crazy when I message people who have looked at my profile REPEATEDLY (at least, according to Couples Dating...) and they don't respond, or decline my network invite, or whateverrrrrr...
That's my rant for today... Carry on.

So, I re upped my membership after saying I wouldn't...
Which brings me to the point of this blog post...
Is it true that Men on this site are pretty much unable to contact people as standard members?? I mean, I'm sure I could reply to an email... but are standard members not allowed to initiate contact??
Or is it standard Men only??
I've heard that women are able to see a limited profile and initiate contact, is this true??
And if it's true, wtf Couples Dating. W T F.

Does anyone look at "who viewed me"???
And if so, have you ever noticed there are thousands of people who look, but don't say a word?? Better yet, there are hundreds of people who look MORE than once, yet still don't say a word...
So my question... Why???
My profile hasn't changed in probably over a year. My age in the written portion is incorrect due to that... So why do people keep checking me out if I'm not worth writing to?? Not only that, but when I finally get up the balls to write to them... they tell me they're not interested.
That's just bullshit, sorry.

I mean, there are brand new "What are you thinking?" blurbs... and you can "like" someone else's activity now... what's next?!? Games?! Couples Dating-ville with Avatars that have different size um.. assets??

I'm sure that more than a million guys have asked this question before... So I won't even bother to ask the question.
The answer, however, seems unclear. Guys are homophobic and freak out with another man in the room? I dunno... maybe.
The woman is not interested in this type of "attention"? Less likely... but possible as well.
What do you all think??
I think that the misconception is that all "single" men on this site are actually cheaters, which would make them not single at all... There's also the misconception that guys on here are trying to play with just the female half of the couple present... Yes, it's often true, but not always. Generalizations lead directly to discrimination, and come on, don't you think we all should be the LAST people in the world to discriminate?!?
(I know I said I wouldn't ask the question, but...)
Why do 2/3 or so of couples clearly state that they will not play with single men??
Granted, this should be prefaced... or postfaced (heh..I made up a word!) with me saying that I've always enjoyed playing with couples and have recently found a couple (well, maybe two couples ) that are willing to enjoy my company.

Okay, so today I received yet another perfect example of why I hate being from West Hartford (sometimes). Someone who I used to chat with, way back when, who I happened to stumble upon on myspace...said I'm too "nice". And that I'd never survive a day in the "hood"...Why is that, though? Because I'm white and Jewish? Because I'm under 6' tall? Because I have money? Oh wait, all the money I have I've EARNED...so that can't be it.
I could break down one by one all those stereotypes about me, but why even bother?? The truth is, I know I'm not "street tough", but that doesn't make me some pussy either. Just because I haven't lived a shitty life, doesn't mean that I've lived an easy one, either. I could whine and complain about everything under the sun, but why am I even writing this?
She doesn't care what I have to say and probably neither do you.
I'd love comments, but there's honestly nothing to comment about here. The only thing I can say is life goes on and in the end the only ones we'll really remember are the ones that care about us. So pigeonhole me if you may, but realize this little bird has wings and is going to fly away...that sounded wicked gay. But I thought it sounded better than "this bird has wings and is going to fly right into your fucking forehead"...
