Rising Pheonix

Scorned by love years ago
Yet she never lost her glow
Wiser from lessons learned
Happier with freedom earned
A strong and valiant heart
Her eyes glimmer with Beauty’s spark
Radiance coils at her center
She becomes a shelter in dark weather
Wielding love like an undying flame
So that no man can shame her claim
With a fiery passion in her veins
And a spirit you can never tame
Accepting challenges gracefully
Ardent protector of her family
Offers a smile to the morning sun
She runs to get everything done
As precious as the rarest rosebud
She holds the rising phoenix in her blood
The<b> author </font></b>of her own story
She lives wild, open, and free
Her eyes shine with a warm light
A bright spark to light up the night
She refuses to play their game
So that no one may snuff out her flame
