Don't be surprised that it is the standard email he sends to all of the women he feels are within his range. He was older than I would find interesting, so I just let the lack of interest in his shrub interest go the way of the condor. Best of luck finding someone more interesting.

Allow me to play devil's advocate, but I think any single guy on Couples Dating has a form letter of some kind. You have to take into account that even a NICE guy has probably met with more than his fair share of rejection here. That's not anything negative on anyone who has ever rejected an advance here, but to avoid constant carpel tunnel syndrome. It's a good idea to have a form letter. I'm not telling you to meet him or not, but to immediately dismiss him simply because he has a form letter might not be fair to both. What if you miss out on a cool tall guy who can carry you up three flights of stairs... or he's 4'11 and is all hair and looks a little like the Kool-aid guy naked. I'll be honest, it is terribly difficult to be profound in an email to a person that you can't even gauge a reaction from cause you can't see their expression.. I do my best not to be too lewd (in general) but you have to be prepared with something well thought out and possibly something you've sculpted into the perfect form letter that doesn't threaten, bore or alert the authorities. But you're also looking for a smart guy, so maybe something more than a three sentences might grab your attention.

Communication is read by others as - get naked and fuck. Communication is still communication. Most men in here are hit and runs, or fly by night aka NSA. That is fine for them and other women who are in their level of interest. I seek a gentleman who knows how to impress me with more than just a general letter to all. You got my attention by other means, and even thou we have not met, we still are "respectful" to each other. My Master told me I my standards are too high in what I seek in other men to play with us. Well, these kinds of guys tend to end up shooting themselves in the foot anyway. I'm just glad to hear it happened before anything else happened. Your master may be right, but only you can set your own standards. If they're too high, I don't think it's necessarily a reflection on you but on the guys who can't seem to hit the mark for you. So, I don't think you have to change a thing about how you approach things here. I know I've received some pretty foul messages here so I can relate, and there is just no excuse that one can't be respectful even after rejection.. It's really no big deal and life goes on. I'll be honest though, I'm still interested in your network of adult friends. Doesn't mean that we have to hook up, but still good to be in a circle of friends who have other benefits. The warmer weather is coming soon, I hope, so I still think we'll run into each other eventually at the resort. Again, doesn't mean we have to have sex, but it's always good to run into a familiar face to hang out with out at Riverside. You take care, miss sunshine and be careful as always with these guys. It's Fat Tuesday too, so if you want any beads you have to wiggle out of the bra.. lol
