My little Sweetie

I swear i still hear her attacking her fleas. This is one of the hardest things i have gone through in a while. Her laying at my feet or crawling up under me when it thundered. How she would run and run when she broke free of the yard and house. Would attack anything that got in the yard with her, she was my guard dog. Did i do the right thing? Should i have spent all that money on such an old dog? That will haunt me forever i fear. When i find a picture on here ill add it.

 I had to do the same with a pet of 8 years early this year. Sometimes it's better to let go than watch them continue to suffer. It's brutal but you make it through.

 1Real, we are sorry for the recent loss of your sweet daughter. We can co-miserate, as all of our children have four legs and tails and we have had to make the same decision regarding quality of life.  My two old dogs died last winter. I miss them too.

 It is getting easier, but i still miss her horribly. Thank you all for your kind and comforting comments. I think the hardest times are when it thunders cuz how she was so scared of it and when i come in from being gone and shes not there to greet me. I was around a couple dogs in the past few days and that helped know i can still care. I will someday get me another, when i find the right one.

Now that shes gone though how do i get rid of the damned fleas she left me??
