    Quoting 69ereatwetpussy:
Lolololol the sell clear plastic vent cover to divert air flow it good to use when furniture is place over vents and you want to move the air out into the room. You may find them in lowes ,home depot even walmart look on line. I got them from one of the magazine with all house hold shit you never need but want. It will help I got like around the house. The have magnet in them to stay in place. Then you can put the TP back the way it should be XOXO.
That's exactly what I need! I notice that even though I have it going 'under' now, it's still doing the same thing, just not as bad. Ugh!

Ya know, I never thought about that, and I'd wonder WHY people would use the under method; NOW, I know.
Makes sense! 👍 😊

Did you know that the soul singer Lou Rawls used to work in a toilet paper factory?

If you happen to have very little TP left on a roll, the air may be strong enough to send that flying as well when you try pulling off a bit and the air current catches it. One of those diverters may be the only thing that helps! Unless you want to buy a free-standing TP holder to set on the floor.

My vent is also under the roll. I found out if you squeeze the roll so the cardboard tube is oval it will not unroll when the air is blowing.

You might want to test the under configuration with the furnace running. There might not be much difference.

Maybe you need one of those clear plastic deflectors that sends the air parallel to the floor rather than straight up.

Yet another Secret Lade tale that brought a smile to my face.

Sounds like you need a plastic deflector that will blow the air out across the floor rather than up in the air !! PLUS side is; it will then blow to keep your Tootsies Warm or Warm the floor in front of The Throne 😉😉 If it is blowing at the time; you could also consider wiping , then squatting for a Blow Dry 😉😂🤠

I used to be a firm believer in the over method until one day I yanked the toilet roll holder off the wall. Now I'm an under man!

the original patent issued for toilet paper was for over the top, although under does work for certain conditions

At least, for me it is anyway.....

I have a morning routine.

Every morning.

I wake up.... I lay in bed for a few minutes cursing my body for the aches and pains I feel... Then I get up and pee...

Sometimes I don't have time to do the first two, and I immediately get up and pee.

Today was one of those days.

Imagine my surprise, in my half asleep state, when I went to grab the toilet paper and pull off a handful only to discover I would wind up with half a roll all over the bathroom.

Since it had been unseasonably warm in my area, my furnace has hardly run since the move.

Up until now, it had never been running while I was in the bathroom....

I discovered today one interesting flaw in having a furnace duct right beneath the toilet paper holder that is attached to the wall.

I reached out, I grabbed a square and started to pull.... Only to discover the air coming from the furnace vent could create an upwind strong enough to send that toilet paper sailing, sailing all over the bathroom.

"Oh my God! Oh my God! Make it stop!"

It was a parachute of toilet paper in a matter of mere moments, when loaded in the 'over' method, there wasn't enough resistance to keep the TP in place and it continue to stay in flight.

Finally realizing what was happening, I grabbed what was left of the roll and stopped the unwind.

From this point on, 'under' it is!

Happy Monday!

*I'll just head off to roll that TP back up on the roll now.....
