Trying to do it right....

Trying to do it right.... Sometimes this site leads people to an aggression that isn't very flattering, I often find myself falling into the same trap. As men here there is so much competition for the women here that we push, hoping to get to talk, to meet that special woman before she finds someone "better". I guess I'm realizing now that it is best to try to be myself, try to build a friendship, hope that maybe she will see that I might be that someone who is "better". Some people say "there is no way you can get anything special on a site like this!" but I'm a firm believer that it isn't how or where you meet, just that you do. I think I've realized I can still try without necessarily being pushy, I can still show her my interest without pushing her away, hopefully build a friendship that is something good and possibly even special....... So if you are reading this please know that I am trying!

Once upon a time, I met a man. He flattered me, promised me a great time. Pushed me to meet him in a hurry. Oddly, the longer I knew him, and I mean the real him, not just him as "turbo lover", the more I liked him. Sweet nothings might get a woman into bed, but it takes a lot more than talk to keep her around.
