Individuality Don't you just hate when you're trying to be yourself AND be different, but people keep copying you? I know they say imitation is the highest form of flattery, but when you're trying to be unique it annoys the f@^& out of me. So I'm putting it on you. I need to change the year I was born. Too many 99 year olds cropping up. It's starting to feel trendy and I don't do trendy. Lol So here's the question I ask you: What year should I put for my birth year? But there are some things to take into consideration. 1. Everyone tells me I look younger than I am. 2. I feel 26 and tell everyone my age is an experienced 26. 3. If I bring the age back down to within the realm of realistic, how much emphasis does age play in your equation of attraction level? I don't want to misrepresent, I just want to add a level of anonymity. 4. I really like my Chinese zodiac sign so if I want to keep it I have to choose a year or birth either 12 years before of after my actual year. So what year do you think I use? 1. 1990 2. actual - 12 years 3. actual + 12 years 4. actual year ~ ~ Blessed are the cracked  for it is they who let in the light ~ ~ |

Ma'am....In YOUR case we like the idea of +12. Maintains the anonymity you desire, while also winnowing out the ageists. If they like you at +12, they probably truly like YOU, not an image of you they based on their "correct" age.

I wouldn't use actual year. This place has poor security so letting out your actual birth year might not be smart in the long run. Plus or minus 3 years is 'acceptable' for some here. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

It doesn't have any bearing on what some guys going think anyway.All 18-49 olds are looking for something.They don't discriminate.It's only women who are concerned about ages.So you get to keep your chinese zodiac! Using more than all the road!

I'd say Age +12 (or 24) if you were choosing. But age is just a number. I've seen some 18 year olds more mature than some older adults and senior citizens so it doesn't really play too much into anything.

MA'AM!!! ? If you're trying to shock me into looking my age, white hair is a bit past the mark. ;P But the rest is pretty sound reasoning. Thanks for your input!
