Platonic Friend Wants More A Poem It is sad that I have had To end a few friendships Over my not wanting To be more than<b> platonic. </font></b>Well that sounds bizarre Because if a guy was Pushing for more He probably was just Being a friend to Lower my defenses. So I will admit I might have flirted a bit But they had partners That they said they Were with Although not happy They stayed In their relationships. I am not someone that Wants to be second fiddle I may have accepted that In the past But it did not sit well. So now that I have More self esteem And can be more assertive I tell a guy straight What I need now. I will not be a side chick. If that is your idea My friend you are Going to be disappointed.
