My Endearing Clown A Poem

He knows I love to laugh.
He knows I can be
Too effing serious.
So he makes an effort
To bring
The laughter in .

Life's ups and downs.
Is it best to share them
With a self professed clown?
Who smiles way more often
Than he frowns?

I know the answer for myself.
Bring it on.
Do away with my sadness
Set it aside like a used habit.
My endearing clown
You have a talent.
It might just be magic.
If it proves effective.
