Dreams Making The Light A Poem

Dreams Making The Light Written in 2017

When dreams
Never see the light of day
When they are held bay
Like being
Denied admittance
To their favorite
Amusement park ride
Should all of humanity weep?
For one person's sleep?
For in them lie the dreams
That could have made
Them so very happy.
Thereby they are
Happiness deprived.

If fate and destiny
Are in control
What harsh harsh overlords!
It is true there
Are limited resources
And one cannot always
Get what they want
But cannot a little dream
Be granted a go?
Why oh why
Cannot a dream become?
Yes become real
Unto the light
It is released.
Making light
Given a new meaning.
