Be The One For Me A Poem

Be the one for
Not the one for another
How can you
Accomplish this feat?
I will give you
Some examples.

sweet
honey
sexy
Yes in a
These will have meaning
They mean you think
Of me fondly.

beautiful
That makes smile
And my heart to flutter
I am such a sucker
For that word.

When we are together
Be affectionate
Touch my hand
Kiss my forehead
Whisper in my ear
Sweet nothings
Suggestive sayings
Like you want to touch
And make love
It might just
Make shudder.
And I might succumb.
No match for your advances
That bring us closer.
To what we each want.

Be the one for
In ways I might not see
For your mind
I cannot read.
Yes in those moments
Think of me often.

Be the one for me
Regardless of whether
I am strong or weak
For in either case
You can offer encouragement
In finding what makes me happy.

Be the one for me
As I am the one for you
I am one to reciprocate
As I often joke
But it is with sincerity
For one way streets
Have been dead ends
And while they make
Great places to stay stagnant
They offer little progress.
