Did You See That? Was it just me or was everyone redirected to a groups page yesterday when you clicked on the Blogs link? There is also a 18 hour gap from Jul 31 :21 am to Aug 1 6:20 am with only 1 posting. *que Twilight Zone music* EDIT: Annnd there seems to be a delay in posts getting on to the Recent Posts list. Whooooooshhh...... is the noise that this post made as it flew right over my head McScally........ .......though I did see some weird geezer in the street wearing a billboard which read something like: THE END IS NIGH REPENT OR YE SHALL BURN like yer boaby wi an STI..... I couldnae read the small print mind, I didnae hae ma glasses wi me, so I may have got that bit wrong!!! I totally missed the twilight time - but really weird is to read from the meta level: Yes, I was testing out a new design for the blogs and groups.. Nice, play the game with all the puppets on digital strings ... The blog area is in my view - ok, who I am - the most valuable unique selling preposition of Couples Dating, there is an universe of blogs - a big difference to all other platforms which I know. Bleaching this great blogger reef with new untested (poisended) designs can easily start an unexpected exodus of many species, leaving a dead dessert ... Try and error without participation of the community seems to be quite dangerous. An interested founder and CEO should consider to blog more often in his blog AND to visit other blogs and - if interested - to comment there. Just my five cents ... Giacomo h.C. FFS, this is not brain surgery. Open a blog, read, comment or not. Groups, channels, whatever that is, is not really necessary. Fix the missing words. KISS works everytime. Yee the numbetr thing??? they had me at 8.8 I tried to corelate it to sit membership senority , but that didn't fit. I seen some as high as 9 and some didnt have a digit, just nothing!!!! It did look intresting but was not navigatable, no rime or reason in movement . and very hard to get back to one's own profile.. I was there and came away with a headache .. I tried it. I couldn't seem to do shit, like comment or control my own blog.. If i had gone with some of the setting selections i would have been left reading nursery rhymes. I think i have enough of that in my life and future as it is. . I did write two posts in that mess.. They seem to have been lost or chewed up by the giant garburator in the sky.

Yeah I got shown the new format the other day as a "valued member of the site". I thought, "OK this is just something I know I'm just going to have to get used to" but after a nose through some of the pages I was just left confused. Seemingly if I want to write a reply to blog post (sorry, community post) I'm going to have to be a member of that group first? Does that mean I've got to go through all the bloggers I follow and get them to add me to their group? I think that is just going to put a lot of people off from posting. And I couldn't see how to find my recent postings, my replies, replies made to my posts, bloggers (sorry community members) in my location, etc. Why do I need a new profile just for the community pages? And how is that going to be policed? I think they are just creating more work for themselves.

The 'blogs' here are simple tools for people to express themselves and interact with each other. I hope 'THEY' don't mush it up. We'll see, right? Be prepared! ❗😎 As to your other thought... Well... last night — during the nightmare on the new blog landing page — I couldn't find ANYONE! No one. I mean, I was going nuts trying to figure things out; (*while watching the 4x100 medley relay swimming finals*). And then, there YOU were. A name and face I recognized. Ya had to be there (*on that new site *), but I was SO relieved — I clicked on your tongue, and 'POOF', I was in your profile. I was shocked. It felt like I was in a store after closing when the lights are dimmed, and EVERYTHING looks free, and you can't... hear... a sound. Ya know what I mean? Yeah, so it was an accident; I stumbled in. But I liked the way you crafted what you want. I see where you're coming from. We'll see how Andrew fixes things up. I'm not going to hang around if it's too much effort. It was a bit confusing but all the blogs one follows were still there. So I could easily find the people I follow. There were several new posts I saw which I know you can see on the current version they were just posted in the same stream as everyone without requiring a comment to be posted. The groups may focus those people into the groups they should be posting in. The blogs have been shrinking and shrinking and are small part of the website as a whole and do need a change in my opinion. I think a version of what happened on the weekend may encourage more posts.

im not ready to try n navigate the newness. Especially without a users guide. Same mess happened 2 weeks ago. Icouldnt find you guys...i missed you. Not wanting to join a group or community to just respond to a blog. Maybe if i liked the content....i would..but otherwise....nah! .......and whats this umber thing mean. I was a 7.6 or something... Hello Red and all.. I did log into the middle of this big Bata test of the new site.. It was a total mess. As some one said you cant fix it by changeing it all around, To narrow the selections of one's choice in bloglabd by allowing them to select groups, sounds like " Kindergarden" It was an unnavagiatable maze of pages one could just stumble onto some of interest once in a while, Why cant they just fix the several small glitches and fire the bean counter, put the site back so that people can communicate..; Now we are left with a NEW Glitch.. if yoy get a notiice of an incommingmessage and click on "Message" icon it takes you to another page not related to mesages.. you have to be of your profile page to get messages.. But so what, this is A FF air link at it's best.. always a chalenge.. May be they are testing our abiliyty to withstand stupid things.. It does get old!!!.. I was lucky enough to miss it as you know we have lots of flex alerts going on here and I stay off the computer in the late afternoon and evening now. I will be so glad when all these flex alerts are over. I am so glad that everything got fixed and you might want to check out Spunkycumfun's blog he reached out to Andrew, and I think you will want to see how Andrew replied to him.. Andrew did away with the "popular bloggers" list and replaced it with a "rating" or Level. It appears to be determined by number of posts, responses, etc. In other words, it's your Level of popularity. Yeah, the popularity contest is just disguised as something else. And the requirement to choose and join Communities, Groups and Channels is bullshit. Sorry, but we already joined a group. It's collectively called "bloggers". I didnt find it that bad if you don't try to merge the old and the new. My suggestion don't link them up. Cancel the blog page but leave it on people's dating profile then just start afresh with the new community. Thank you for doing away with the top bloggers list. They also catch on fire when their auto-pilot fails and the run into people or other objects. After they catch on fire they aren’t shiny anymore but they are still new. A condo building in Surfside Florida was once new and shiny. Unfortunately for the most recent owners it was poorly built and 98 people paid for that. There are old buildings from the 1600s that are neither new nor shiny but they are still standing. The common thread being – new and shiny corporate dollars were more important than people’s lives. One nice thing about the "new" blog system (and probably the ONLY nice thing about it!) was the absence of the "popular" blog portion. One thing I did notice though is participants of the blogs are "graded" as to their participation and assigned "Levels". This appears to be derived from blogs posted, numbers of responses, etc. So there are still some "popularity" wars that are going to happen. Same shit, different label, right? The "new" owner of this site, Mr. Andrew Cornu (who originally owned the site), is back and making some DRASTIC changes to the blogs. What you saw yesterday turned out to be his idea of beta testing the "new" blog set up. It's a fucking mess and very difficult to navigate. It requires people to join Groups, follow Channels and all sorts of other crap. He's re-set it to the old version for now, but he's planning to drop the bombshell on us again sometime soon.
