Jeff Sessions as attorney general... or maybe the secretary of defense.

Sessions has a hard on for the<b> illegal </font></b>alien issue and he has shown a lack of interest in the past in prosecuting civil rights cases to say the least. Isn't that someone you want in the attorney generals office though I don't think he should be the secretary of defense either. He really ought to be unemployed in my opinion.

All I can say is after Giuliani's misrepresentation of the facts on national TV during the election process he has no business as an attorney general though he has made it clear he wants the secretary of state job as his reward for his lies and crap in support of Trumps campaign. I think he ought to go home and shut the fuck up.

Yep Trump is surrounding himself with the faithful even if they are not fit for the job. Rewarding them and ignoring the ones who didn't support him or actually spoke against him. Not that Trump is a petty little bitch or anything.

 We can fight back, and many people are already doing that. The people telling us to give Trump a chance and be silent are fools and sellouts. This is about more than just being unhappy that your team didn't win. This election presented a clear choice between traditional American ideals and fascism. Our politicians are flawed human beings, just like all the rest of us. What Trump campaigned on was hatred- bigotry, misogyny and xenophobia. None of these ideas are new to American politics. Fascism and fear mongering rear their ugly heads from time to time but before THIS election Americans have managed to reject them. Sometimes it took a while. But never has a comprehensive platform of scapegoating minorities been THE main platform of any successful party in America. We have no choice but open and vocal resistance in every way possible. We're fighting for the soul of our country, and some of our countrymen are fighting for their very lives. To abandon them would be craven and unforgivable.

 The cabinet he is putting together is frightening. .. But I'm with Kazoo on this. They are also incompetent yes men. ... Best case scenario: They fuck a lot of shit up, but get nothing done. They'll collapse upon themselves. Hopefully they won't leave too big of a mess to clean up in four years.

They already kicked out Christie. I guess that butt kisser who was always right behind Trump wasn't loyal enough.

We can hope so but I'm more worried about the ways they will find to do things that shouldn't be done. Things that hopefully will be the end of their careers when they are discovered but with a president that has the power to pardon just what will be done and who will get away with what?

 Trump is himself incompetent. He's surrounded himself with yes men all his life. It only makes sense that he'll appoint incompetents. And that in itself may be our salvation.
