 It depends on what you would like to do. If you want full access to profiles, pictures and such, then yes. If you like to read blogs, stories and skim though profiles, then no. Unless you get a really good price to make it worth while and desire to be on more often. I find if I wait a few days after my subscription lapses, I get a better price. Your decision. Have fun.

 I didn't bother with renewing. Never found anyone close enough. Chat and cams still work so you still get that. IM doesn't really work in here but there are alternatives that you don't have to pay for.

 I think it really does make a difference. When I let me membership lapse, I get nothing more than a few views now and then. When I get Gold - I usually only do a month at a time - when I get gold, I immediately notice a difference because I can send emails and chat with the IM tool. I'm practically invisible otherwise. That's how it works, generally for guys, anyway!

I am lucky to be in a pretty densly populated area, though - so that make a big difference too. There's always someone as horny as me with 25 miles lol!
