Good Morning Folks.
Well the cutting out all soda pop is helping but I need more of a hand in getting this weight thing taken care of. So I joined a new gym that has diet counseling and personal trainers as part of the fees. So last night I went to a class with a dietician. Not only was she delicious to look at, but she had some great information I am going to implement. I knew some of the stuff she talked of, but putting it to use in practical everyday use was foreign to me. She showed us all(20 in the class) a way to make it happen. It's a weekly class with a weigh in prior to class. I have to admit I like the accountability feature about it.
Tonight I meet with a personal trainer, again included in the cost of membership, to try to put together a<b> realistic </font></b>program with<b> realistic </font></b>goals I can work and stick to. I tend to set high standards for myself and get frustrated when I don't achieve them. So maybe, again being accountable, with<b> realistic </font></b>goals I'll be able to stick with it.
I've mentioned accountability here a couple of times. When it comes to work I am extremely accountable because a) I have the boss to answer to and b) I have the Feds to answer to as well. In my personal life I have to answer to myself. And sometimes myself tends to look the other way. And with 20 years of military experience behind me I know what self discipline is, so it's just a matter of going for it but having someone to coach now and then when needed.
We all need a hand every now and then and I guess for some of us, like myself, it's hard to ask for it.
Of course if any Ladies would like to help I'd take a hand or other body part from them as well.

my favorite exercise is sex and its a great work out for me. i also fast before and during sex and sometimes after... so sex is a great diet plan for me... unfortunately it requires more than one person, finding that great sexercize partner is becoming more and more daunting but i am not giving up...lol

Me either. I am looking for someone to get that extra cardio workout in with. Never know when you might find the right one. Too bad you live so far away we could exercise together...
