Admitting is the First Step to Recovery
Admitting is the First Step to Recovery -- Posting in the morning. -- Posting alone. -- Hiding the behavior of posting from people closest to you. These are signs of addiction according to experts. Would it sound strange to any of you that coming to this cyberspace and reading/writing blogs is the highlight of my regular day? Reading that sentence aloud makes me feel kind of pathetic. But, alas… there it is. On an up-note, I suppose, I have stopped searching profiles. There simply is not a woman in my area on this website that is either real or serious about getting to know me. Oh well. Through this venue of blogging however, I have been very pleased to find all kinds of fantastic people to exchange glances, thoughts and perspectives with. Whoda thunk it? So it got me to thinking. My list of blogs that I "watch" has expanded significantly over the past few weeks. Most of them are what I would consider "frequent posters". All of them are excellent writers (uh… there's a LOT of horribly written blogs out there, folks). Some have hundreds of followers and others less than 20 (much like myself). That allows for plenty of time for getting to know these people, even when I don't comment or expect them to read my blog in return. How many blogs do YOU watch on this site? How often do YOU post? How often do YOU comment? |

I watch about 8 blogs but perve others whom I don't follow regularly. I post a couple of times a week. I comment on occasion. Myelin

Of my 35, only 8 or 9 blog daily, the bottom 12 or 15 on the list haven't blogged in months.
