YUP!!! another New Post about American Auto Workers

Just went down today to pick up my dads tax at local 600 near where the Ford Rouge Plant use to be which is only 10 minutes from my house and I regard that as my neighborhood.Boy when I got there the entire parking structure was filled up, I,m saying shit!!!! Man everybodys here for there taxes?Nah!!! it was just one of those Free Union Lunches or Dinners.I walk through the door and GodDamn, it looked like one of those summer gatherings on Belle Isle for the Jeffersons, I mean like what the fuck well I walk through alll scrubby and unshaven looking like a typical Ford Line Employee I,m thinking to myself so I,m one of the boys, Union Power etc etc etc, well the Black guy by the door is passing out some kind of flyers, I walk pass and he doesn,t hand me one,eventhough I,m not there for the Free Lunch or Dinner or whatever Picnic they were having just to pick up my old mans taxes,I just figured that he would think I,m a Ford Worker and hope the skin tone didn,t have anything to do with it, well I guess it did Oh well !!!! I think Ford Products are a piece of CRAP anyway. Its going to be like that until they change their hiring process, 2 year college Degree at least,no criminal record,no drug or drinking problem,physically fit should count at least %75 on a application, while the other 20 or 25% is work experience.Hell I never had any experience welding when I started at my workplace, after the 3rd year I was welding better than those who went to school for it and have been welding much longer than me.Some of the folks I saw there looked like they just came out of Jackson State Prison instead of a Ford assembly line Many of them were walking around with what I call style overcoats and those Big Hats, one had a whole bunch of Ostrich or Peacock<b> feathers </font></b>on it wearing expensive watches and rings.Hell most of the vehicles on the parking lot were at the most 2-3 years old ,expensive top of the line F 150s,SUV s ,Lincoln and Cadillacs lwith all the whistle bells.Overheard one say to another, Man!!! just bought a new BMW, don,t know what I should do with my other 3 cars, they practically brand new. How much are these fuckers making on the Line?
