Gem and Mineral Show

I was at the Gem and Mineral show today. As always they had an excellent show plus they had a flintknapper too. Fossil fish from WY and Lake Superior agates were popular. I love the banding on those agates. Any women out there love rocks and minerals too?

 Well you know I'm into them too. They don't have the local shows here that they once did but I try to go when I hear of one. You will have to tell me more about the one you went to yesterday and if you bought anything.

 I have a pile in my trunk still from my last trip up to the North Shore this past October and I have a perfectly spherical ball of dolomite on my living room shelf - is there a word for rock geeks?

We are called rockhounds, usually. I keep all my rocks in the garage. I love just laying down on my belly on a rocky beach and looking them over. So many different colors and patterns
