ðēð Say what?
ðēð Say what? I posted this previously and was fascinated by the responses and would like updated response. This is the answer to the metrosexual and the latest thing in men's fashion By Shelley Hazen, Newser Staff .Posted Nov , 20 8: AM CST Newser) â He's unshaven, a little dirty, and dresses like a woodsman. No, he's not a slob, he's âĶ sexy? This guyâthink Tim "the Tool Man" Taylor, Nick Offerman, or Chuck Norrisâis a lumbersexual, apparently. And just what is that? He's the opposite of the shaven and moisturized metrosexual, with all his skinny jeans and hair gel, Gear Junkie explains. The lumbersexual wears an "unkempt beard, nothing tight, plaid, maybe even plaid on plaid, and an appropriate level of disaffection," writes Tom Puzak. "His backpack carries a MacBook Air, but looks like it should carry a lumberjack's axe." But these lovers of the "pseudutdoors" live in concrete jungles, sporting their flannel and work boots on the streets of LA or New York. "The lumbersexual spends the amount of , but looks filthy," writes Aleksander Chan at Gawker. "Both kinds of men are working very hard to fashion themselves into a certain look." And the look came from the gay community, contends Tim Teeman at the Daily Beast. They invented the "smooth, pretty gay metrosexual," and their "hairier brethren," the "bears" and cubs" inspired the lumbersexual. This discussion is about men that have this look for style, not those that are this way because of their work. I guess to each their own. I have no interest in this look. My only comment (s), isnât it readily apparent that a person is âfrontingâ and is not they represent themselves to be? I may be a bit too much into details , but the accessories in some of these examples have clearly never been used. So a couple questions. Have you ever heard of this âlookâ before? Is it attractive to you. Or guys, is it something you would do? |

The meme comment confuses us women as well!! And that beard with the arm tattoos- is taboo.My nephew could pose for #1 but he's been dressing like that in the archeology field for years before the terms ever were even thought of (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

Never had a full beard, a light beard. Just my preference. But if it works for them and women like it, more power to them.

No beards for me thanks, I always imagine what's hanging around in there amp;

I live in an area where guys dress like that all the time....naturally. The only difference is the head gear. It's the ball cap that tells you he's not a lumbersexual. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

If it is for natural reason, I am ok with it. If it is a style statement

I have a full beard but am a normal guy with no exterior nor interior motives sexually. I dress however I to make me feel comfortable. Happy Sunday. "Sweet, steamy, sensuous kisses light the bright fires of passionate lust within us." scott6250

I have always heard this to be the rugged guy look, and I myself like it. There is something so sexy about a rugged strong kind of man that's a turn on for me. And a beard burn can feel so good on the skin.. I hope you have a Peaceful Sunday Pal..
