Let's Go To The Fair...!!!
Let's Go To The Fair...!!! The County Fair is going on in our town this week and it brings back so many memories of when I was a . We used to beg to go every day. Of course, my parents wouldn't let us go everyday --- but we did get to go at least two of them. What was/is your favorite ride games or event of the fair? Share a memory with us! . . |

I love affairs, I mean fairs! We don't have fairs in Silicone Valley but we have theme parks like "Great America" which is like a big fair all summer long. Happy to see you back. I get most of my gifs and pictures on google... Hugs, Voice

My favorite had to be Italian Sausage with Bell Peppers and Onions or the tri tip Steak Sandwich.... Of course the Ribs were a side dish with either! Pork or Beef!

There used to be one at a local college. They had a game where you catapult (hammer operated) a little rubber frog onto Lilly pads floating in a moat (tub of water) in the center of the booth. I have no idea why it struck us so funny but the sight of 30 rubber frogs flying from all directions at the same time toward the moat had us lying on the ground in tears. The prize was a stuffed frog. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog, I hope to see you here again! Hugs, Voice

I love fairs; my favourite rides are the helter skelter, dodgems and ghost train! I like the helter skelter and the tilt a whirl the best. Do you remember a ride called the loop o plane? Thanks for stopping in! Hugs, Voice

The fair was always a good time to catch up with other kids you may not have seen since school let out. The rides were fun, and the food always tasted extra-special, but I think my friends and I spent more time gabbing and talking than anything else. Yes, we always would see and meet up with friends at the fair. Usually my parents gave us some money and let us run around with the friends for a while. With instructions as to WHEN and WHERE to meet back up with our parents. I can remember my dad saying...."and if you are NOT there at THAT time, you will be walking home and there will be a whooping waiting for you"! Laughs...his bark was so much worse than his bite! Thanks for stopping at my blog.....hope to see you again here! Hugs, Voice
