Is etiquette truly a lost art??
Is etiquette truly a lost art?? Something that most people do not know about me, I am a sucker for proper etiquette. Very few men display proper etiquette. I am not sure if that is because they think there is no need for or perhaps it was how they were raised. Just not sure. Nevertheless, one day I was walking my vehicle with my sons and parked next was a woman her phone watching my every move. I did not think much of it at the time. She watched me walk the driver’s door of my vehicle as one of my sons open the door and waited until I go into my vehicle then closed the door behind . This is normal in my household. As I started my vehicle, she rolled down her window and motioned for roll down my window. A little confused, I rolled down my window. She stopped her phone conversation and said to , are you the mother of those young men? Perplexed at her question, I paused then answered yes. She asked me if I raised then, again confused but I immediately said yes. She then proceeded compliment me my sons. She was impressed that they displayed proper etiquette. She further explained that many young men do not. It’s not just the young men but some older men too. I shared this story with a few male friends from the site. are fathers and each one had a different opinion about etiquette. The impression I received from one of the conversations is that etiquette is a dying art or just for people who are in love. Is this true? REALLY??? I should be your favorite spice.FACE DOWN, ASS UP. GIVE MY PUSSY LIPS A KISS So How far will you go The Spice Rack Cinnamontaste69 is my playground. Cum follow me if you're old enough. |

It IS a dying art, sadly. Makes those who actually have and practice proper etiquette all the more special. Although, I should add, I’ve known a few who have displayed immaculate etiquette and still end up being complete assholes. Lol. Still, etiquette is very much appreciated. And we’ll done on your sons 😊

Just the other day was a woman with two young children. Told her it was nice to see her not letting them run wild in the store like some parents do. Didn't want them touching stuff and to stay close. Not often I get to say that about parents. Plenty of people my age and older where I live in a senior apartment building. Some of the polite women who say hi how are you and act all concerned if sick or hurt are the worse gossipers. Vicious in what they say about some people. Have manners yes to people's faces. When wall away it's different. Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth. If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

IMHO, etiquette and class went the way of the dodo bird with the advent and popularity of reality TV. Thank you for passing those traits on to you children...I commend you!

I BLAME ; the Women's Liberation Movement on a lot of the Losses that women have endured !!! For those that are unaware ; that is a time that SOME women thought they were Equal Too or in some cases Better Than Men They dropped the Heavy Ball on their Own Foot !!! Etiquette is just One of the MANY things that they started CHASTISING Men for doing !!! I HAD been told on numerous occasions when holding a Door Open that ; " I'm capable of opening my own door ! " or something too that effect I Do Not give a Sh** ; I will still Open Doors !!!! JUST MY HUMBLE OPINION !!

I don't like to say it but a lot of people I know, don't even know the meaning of the word; etiquette.

Good manners and respect, they're not difficult. I like to hold the door open, not just for my lady. I like to help someone who's struggling to lift a heavy bag or object, not just for a woman or an elderly person. It's nice to be nice. It's easier to be nice than to be nasty. Hope you're well m'dear.
