I hope everyone is safe, and healthy..
This pandemic is really messing up the game here on Couples Dating.
The play times is severely reduced! I work as a contractor for the DoD and we aren't told to stay home but, If I am exposed coworkers or other people we deal with, I don't want to get a play partner in dutch medically so, I have to stand down.
Everyone else being nice and celibate until those blows over?

A weekend away

I was with a woman last weekend I met here on Couples Dating. Our first night, I went down stairs to buy some mouthwash and other stuff in the gift shop. I went upstairs after about 15 minutes and my date was in the shower and I saw some "Depends, active fit underwear on top of the counter.
When my date came out, she was horrified she left the box out! She came out the shower wearing sexy lingerie...
After 30 minutes of saying I was fine with it (we're both middle aged) and she showed me the panties she wore during dinner and our concert date in the casino....
Has anyone encountered this?
Personally, it doesn't bother me but well, just wanted to share.

I have a modified 1972 Datsun 510. I'll save you all the details but I've owned this vehicle for 28 years. For years it was hiding a tarp in my parent's backyard.
Anyways, I retired from the military and it took 9 months to fully restore and modify it to how I wanted it.
I was visiting my youngest this week (I have twins, a boy and girl and another ). I work overseas on a civilian military contract), the youngest (27) lives in my townhome.
I took my car (510) and drove around to meet someone 20 miles away for coffee (A Couples Dating meet).
Well, long story short, I slipped on spilled ice and coffee front the of the place before the meet. To add, my knee wasn't feeling it (Airborne!) and well, I had to go to a urgent care after the spill. My meet date was kind enough to offer to take me but I said, I will my to do it and we said goodbye and make it another time for a meet
I ask 's fiance to drive my car back to my place and he looks in it and said, "I don't know how to drive a 'stick.' Pop." WT HECK!!
Anyway, my says she'll take to urgent care and drive the car (All my learned to drive with a standard transmission).
Anyway the point is, I find it attractive if a woman knows how to drive a standard transmission, not many can, especially the ones who seem to be attracted to on Couples Dating. I feel that 98% of those are bots..

I've written about suspecting women are 40-45 on Couples Dating being bots. I also suspect the amount of men women ratio on ALT.com is 20 to 1..More men than female.
I recently received a wink, from a Gold member asked why I didn't have a photo of appendage in profile???? Huh?
I don't judge people have those explicit photos on their profile. In fact, men and women on here have tons. I just don't on profile. I do have explicit photos in albums but they were for friends list people see but, I've cut that list down by 98%, I had a hundred I have now... Just did spring cleaning...
I'm middle aged, a widower and well, I just don't truck like that. I do have a profile on a mainstream site for people my age, we've all seen commercials in late night TV. Attractive middle aged people wanting date people their age etc. I suspect many of the women on there are bots too. SMH . Also the higher amount of men on the site is about the as Couples Dating.
What surprised me, I had woman ask for a 'banana pic' for her 'kitty cat pic.' From that mainstream site! Hahaha.
I don't know, this digital age just get's straight it huh? Just musing and wondering.

I recently returned from a work trip to Kansas and it was just work. I had a two day layover in LA before I returned to my contract location and I visited my daughters, and grandchildren who live in the area.
While I was there, I text a person who always 'flirted' with me on Couples Dating and we've emailed back and fourth. I am no longer a Gold member but my current subscription status works out so I haven't updated, anyways. I met up with this woman and we went to a coffee bean that was between us for a meet and chat.
If you don't know, I am a retired military veteran and the first thing the woman says after a hello is, "You aren't trying to pull a stolen valor deal are you? I hear a lot of people impersonating military to meet women."
Oh boy, well, I showed her my VA card and my retired USA ID... I guess a girl has to feel safe..
I think it's deplorable when that stolen valor deal happens but that's the first time someone asked to see some ID or proof I wasn't a fake.. It kind of soured our conversation but it was civil, jovial at times but I couldn't wait to get out of there and see my grand again..
I wrote this because I am at a impasse, I received two emails from this woman and she knows I'll be in the LA area again before Thanksgiving for work for a couple weeks. She wants a 'date.' I guess I passed her interview...
I personally don't think I'll have a good time if we had a date but should I give her a chance and feel her out more or just decline?

I wrote before about women on Couples Dating contacting me to get to know me and well, to have fun with. I also wrote that if they didn't know or use certain things, ate, or drank etc from my youth or adult life, I was leery about dating them.
Maybe too self conscious of the age difference but I wrote if they were within five years of my youngest 's age, I wouldn't even consider. What do you think?

I found that the women who have recently messaged or sought interest with me as a as a partner are getting younger and younger. Not the irregular fembots of Couples Dating but people I have actually talked on the phone and met.
These are women with direction and goals in life and not pandering for a meal ticket or well, whatever it is. That's what conversations over coffee or tea are how you find that .
I try stay within the age guidelines I set on the site but when they start getting with five years of my ages. I don't know, I just don't feel it. Some say "go with it. Try it etc."
My best choice is, I like what I like and someone who never saw a rotary phone or a push button phone with a chord... I don't know.
I am though, attracted to women who are older. five, fifteen years even (I have had a lot of away fun with these women).
I know, I'm different, I'm lame whatever but you like what you like...
