I watched a little of the classic film, "The Barefoot Contessa" and was again struck by how beautiful Ava Gardner was in 1954. Like Elisabeth Taylor, her striking dark hair, her lovely creamy complexion, such lovely eyes and large lips, with a cute dimpled chin was just too attractive! Her acting was fine, but her physical charm was just totally captivating. I can see why Frank Sinatra had a shrine to her, even after she left him. What a babe!
