weeks 13 & 14

took me to Puerta Gallera. One of the best tropical beachs around besides Boracay. it was 3 days of sun, sea and adventure.

The Island life here is much different, after you get past all the "vendors" trying to sell you pearls, sarongs and hand made trinkets, oh yes and sun glasses even though you're already wearing some lol you can finally see some of the beach. they were like a swarm of bees as soon as we got off the boat!

Everyone is very friendly on the Island and of course we all stuck out like sore thumbs since I think we were the only "foreigners" there last weekend. But we went snorkeling at the coral reefs, diving in Sabang (sounds like Sa-bong)which is some of the best diving in the world....was absolutly amazing! wish I would of had a waterproof camera! and then went parasailing...OMG what a blast! If you've never gotten a chance to try it,I'd HIGHLY recommend it!
The water there is some of the clearest blue water I've ever seen!

The drinks are very cheap and flow very freely, the food on Puerto isnt all that great, minus this one little authentic italian pizzeria we came across at the very far end of the beach. We got to meet the owner who is VERY italian and a lot of fun, and had a party going on when we got there which he gracefully invited us to join. Nothing like partying with true Italians lol

The saying of the day has now become "its Okay", I had some apples in my irish cream, which my drunken coworker had taken out of her drink and put in my empty glass, thinking the bartender would give me a new glass...WRONG. she just poured my baileys over the apples..of course by this time I was to drunk to notice right away, but when I did notice it. I said to her " there are apples in my drink, can I get a new one" she looked at me kinda funny, and said "no,...its okay" and walked away. The ironic part is the next day when we traveled to Sabang...we found a bar in that town called the "its okay bar" we all died laughing and of course I had to get pics!

anyway, I took lots of pics and will show them to you all when I get home. Boracy is the next trip. its one of the top 5 Island resorts in the world...cant wait!! more sun, sea and "adult Bevarages" woohooo!

the picture is the sunset we had the last night we were there! it was breathtaking!

Miss you all....and only about 10 weeks to go!
