I thought a "fix" friend was one you scored heroin with?  In the summer of '82 was in a bar band called Cruise Control and we had this odd combination of talent as our lead singer who was a chain smoking, super skinny, black haired chick who always wore zebra print pants, lived in a trailer park and was a well trained opera singer.
