What a terrible event. Lost for words, and thoughts with the families.
Ariana Grande is planning to return to Manchester next Sunday to play again. Brilliant!

This is the right response, Spunky. It'd be so easy to give in to hatred. It's right and proper to be angry, but people need to grieve and hold on to each other first.
The response to Manchester here has been quite interesting - first, Manchester is carrying on even to the point of probably hosting another Ariana Grande concert next Sunday; second, the police have probably arrested the people who helped the terror attack to happen; third, armed police and soldiers are patroling every city centre; fourth, questions need to answered why the authorities were told of the suicide bomber's motives but did nothing; and fifth, the Conservative Party are making hay of this attack!
The Tories love terrorism; it gets them re-elected!

This was a totally useless act and destroyed so much. Love, hope. prayers and hugs to all of them- what a truly beautiful grouping of words to express it
Manchester will survive and even flourish after this!

Britain and the rest of Europe are, unfortunately, getting used to bombs!
There's no other way to respond other than solidarity!

    Bonjour Spunky
Je renouvelle toute ma sympathie et mon soutient au habitant de l'Angleterre
Et mes pensées vont vers les familles et les victimes
Heureusement la vie continue et Manchester United l'a prouvé hier
    Vive la Grande Bretagne

I renew all my sympathy and my support to the inhabitant of England
And my thoughts go to the families and the victims
Fortunately, life goes on and Manchester United proved it yesterday
    Long live Great Britain

When a group uses these tactics, they are cowards. The 'victim"s become the strong and will win. Stay strong and true, our thoughts are with ya'll
So-called terrorists may be cowards but they do change things with attacks like Manchester.

I may be a City supporter but at a terrible time like this, I'm glad to see Manchester united as one.
Both Manchester football clubs were brilliant about this attack.

They are fucked up but I'm beginning to think our response to them is also fucked up! Some people here are calling for internment of 'suspect' Muslims!
It seems nothing has changed since the so-called Crusades!
I am not a fan of religions, but restricting or punishing people because of their peaceful beliefs is worse than the religions themselves. The current situations to me are an example of why I don't like religions - people are constantly trying to force others into their way of believing. So people either control others or kill them - to me that is all religions accomplish.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I'm not a big fan of organised religion either.
