I do somewhat follow European politics. .. I Just learned from this thread that Macron won!   I think Teresa May is just as insecure as Donald Trump, although she hides it better. She wasn't elected, her party is holding a pretty good hand at the moment, and she wants to capitalize on that while she can. .. Fucking bloody good politician. .. Is not having debates a part of her strategy? I don't really find her attractive. She looks pretty old for only being 60. .. But I'd take one for the team!

I owe the T-dog (as she's known in my house) because she's cured me of my lust for right-wing women. It was getting so bad I even started fancying Sarah Palin - particularly when I found out her favourite position is doggie and she loves it up the arse  I don't find the T-dog attractive in the slightest. She's Creepy Nan, in thousand pound leather trousers  But she's a strong and stable leader  At least that's what she keeps saying, as if saying it enough will make it so  This general election campaign is so different idepending whether you follow it on television and in newspapers. But unfortuinately I think the hostile press will win! Fucking Murdoch!

I am sure madam prime minister was a right little madam 30 years ago. These days she looks like too much stiff upper lip. Is that good for B/J's? I don't follow the election it bores me stiff. Election result? erm... Blair?

Make your local MP work - don't vote for them. Sturgeon: PM, we need a second referendum vote in Scotland now. PM: No, not going to happen, I don't want any distractions while we negotiate Brexit. Calls general election. Must admit, looks like there isn't an opposition for May so I suspect she will win. Corbyn has no character, I dunno how he was elected, perhaps there wasn't anyone else. Labour probably could do worse getting Blair back in again. Oh, what I meant was the Tories will win unless Diane Abbot is in charge of the count. Blair was good for the Labour Party but then Iraq happened!

I'm not surprised the British election isn't newsworthy, because it's an election called by a Conservative Government, well ahead in the polls, to get another Conservative Government!

I haven't seen much of anything on the news but I have been following the election in France and am glad about the outcome there. Brexit kind of screwed Britain just like Trump is screwing America. What do you think will be the results of the general election next month in Britain? By the sounds of what you are saying it seems she will likely win. Mactrn's problem is that he doesn't have a party in the French parliament to get things done.

I think it'll need a nuclear war to keep Trump off the front page of the news, but then again he'll bpush the button first. Scary, very scary! When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Britain will survive outside the EU but it just won't flourish. That was the reason why Britain joined the EU in the first place in 1973, nearly twent years after the EU was established. The country was doing okay outside but it was always better inside the EU.

You keep me updated in emails and my wife has a friend who sounds like she knows her way around UK politics. Theresa May is a Tory, so there's two strikes against her right away. The Maggie Thatcher wannabe thing? That's good for another four strikes, an infield fly and a foul popup between first base and the dugout. Sorry for the baseball analogies. I don't know fuckall about cricket. I do know I despised Maggie Thatcher and celebrated her demise along with thousands in the UK. Maggie was only marginally better looking than Saint Reagan, to boot. A thoroughly unpleasant woman. Though no Tory, under Thatcher the NHS survived and Britain remained in the EU but under May the NHS is under existential questioning and Britain is leaving the EU. The onward march of the right!

No I don't think she's an attractive woman....and she has a funny walh. I'm not really following it.....I have enough trouble keeping up with Irish politics.

She does make some weird facial expressions! I watched her on the 'One Show', she didn't say anything important. Her husband could hardly get a word in edge-ways. I've got no choice but to follow the erections  We may not get a television debate between May and Corbyn but at least we get to see the two leaders on the One Show. This is democracy!
