AESOP and his fractured fairy tales /Episode 135,

The Chicken and the

Once apon a time, along time ago in a land far far away, there was a chicken and a that were best friends. They would get together on the farm and do crossword puzzles, play scrabble, and do other challenging feats. On one fine spring morning, the and a chicken are playing in a meadow. The fell into a mud hole and he is sinking. He calls to the chicken to go and get the farmer to help pull him out to safety. The chicken runs to the farm but the farmer can't be found, so he drives the farmer's Mercedes back to the mud hole and ties some rope around the rear bumper of the Mercedes. He then throws the other end of the rope to his friend, the , and drives the car forward saving him from sinking!!!! A few days later, the chicken and were playing in the meadow again and the chicken fell into the mud hole. The chicken yelled to the to go and get some help from the farmer. The said, "I think I can stand over the hole!" So he stretched over the width of the hole and said, "Grab for my 'thingy' and pull yourself up." The chicken did just that, and pulled himself to safety. Now, if you haven't figured this out, every episode of AESOPs's fractured fairy tales has a moral. I can see your head shaking, thinking "What possible moral could this dumb fairy tale have? Well, the moral of the story is: "If you are hung like a , you don't need a Mercedes to pick up chicks, but if you have your pants on it sure helps !!!
