My female side

'Janine' and I were having a very interesting discussion this morning regarding the 'female' side of ALL men.

Yes, you read that right, the female side that ALL men actually possess but so VERY few are willing to show.

Mind you, there is a 'male' side to all females as well!

Of course, this topic is a 'natural' for a true t-girl to discuss for the obvious reasons but she also touched on a number of reasons why guys are not 'allowed' to show their feminine side that I found interesting.

Her first assertion was the fact that All of us, men and women, have both 'genders' inside of us. We're human beings and up until puberty we do in fact display the 'traits' of both a male and female. Almost equally.

Physically, if you TRULY know you're human anatomy, especially in regards to the genitals, you will KNOW that there are HUGE correlations between a cock and a pussy. The tissues that make up say the female clitoris, are identical to those that make up the head of the penis. A lot of clits actually LOOK like a tiny little dick. The female labia are made up of the same exact 'stuff' as the male scrotum.

Further, as I just said to Janine, an orgasm is an orgasm. It doesn't matter if your male or female. Granted, the actual physical manifestations are a bit different in that a man will ejaculate sperm but really, is this a whole lot different than a woman who squirts when she comes?? (Minus the sperm mind you)

Yes there are some difference but the similarities are many!

This leaves us with the BIGGEST 'influence' and that is society!

Society 'pigeon-holes' us based on gender. In other words a man is supposed to 'act' like a man and woman like a 'women' and heaven forbid you should cross those lines.

I will say this, it's MUCH easier for a woman to act like man than it is for a man to act like a woman, at least relative to 'societal norms'.

In our society, it's 'wrong' for men to show emotions. It's wrong for men to show any type of 'feelings' towards other men.

It's not the same for women however. Women are 'allowed' to show emotions and feelings towards each other.

Society strikes again eh?

Societal 'norms' foster homophobia in this regard. At least MODERN society.

You know that back in the Greek and Roman times, male/male relationships were accepted. Many a Greek and/or Roman 'leader' had both male and female consorts. It was not only perfectly acceptable but expected!

Ahhh the Victorians! They did MORE to fuck up society than just about anybody eh? LOL

I KNOW I have a female side and I do in fact get in touch with it periodically. I certainly don't go as far as say Janine does but I do actually TRY to tap into it whenever I can and I'm ALLOWED to.

It manifests itself in lot of ways not the least of which is my own bisexuality.

Now, let's look at that term, bisexuality..

I HATE it. Really I do. While I use the term, basically because it's a convenient label, it doesn't even come CLOSE to describing ME.

I love PEOPLE! Period. Male/female, it doesn't really matter. I don't really see folks in those terms anymore. I enjoy having sex, pleasing and being pleased by and with PEOPLE in general.

This is one of the reasons I love my t-girl friends so much. They blur the gender 'line' to the point that it's non-existent and that REALLY appeals to me.

While the acceptance of gays is growing in this country, it's amazing how the transgendered have been left out of this movement even BY the gay people themselves.

I've seen this myself and know a LOT of gay men who do NOT accept transsexuals at all. A lot of women don't accept transsexuals either but it does seem like there are more women who do than men.

In a lot of places in this great country, it's still perfectly acceptable to beat the snot out of a transsexual. Try doing that to a gay man or woman and watch the 'hate crime' lawsuits fly!!!

I was chatting with a friend yesterday when my friend Janine got here. I told my friend that Janine was in back getting changed which surprised my friend. I had to explain that transsexuals typically do NOT go around 'dressed' in public unless they're going to a bar or a 'safe place' basically because that opens them up to ridicule, physical harm and even harassment by the law/cops or really, as Janine just told me, anybody/everybody!

Getting back to my OWN female side. It manifests itself in a lot of ways. I'm a HUGE 'mother hen', I'm a very compassionate person, I do care about other people and their feelings very much, I have a strong domestic 'streak' in me etc etc etc.

Of course it also manifests itself in the bedroom. I do enjoy playing the 'female' role from time to time and while I am predominately a 'top', there are times when I LOVE to 'bottom' and let that whole female part of me come out as my 'man' fucks me silly!

As most of you know, I'm 54 years old now and to tell you the truth, I really don't GIVE a shit what people think about me any more. I'm proud to be a 'bisexual', I enjoy letting my female side come out, I love ALL people, male/female and everything in between. I truly HATE labels and society's attempt to pigeon-hole us into stereotypical 'roles'. I also can't stand hypocrites and judgmental people.

Of course, some of this touches on my own personal view of G-d and human spirituality but that's a topic for another day! -tm

Interestingly enough what had me perusing this place in the beginning were the transsexual genders for a friend of mine. He was and is completely infatuated with them. Being as I was accommodating to his needs, he got off a lot! Verbally. If it wasn't for his fantasies I might not have ever opened the A.F.F. door. Now there's something to ponder. ..
Interesting for sure to ponder. It's also interesting how many seemingly straight guys are VERY curious about transsexuals. -tm

    Good for you Tazz.

I agree with you totally. The transvestite / transexual does occupy a rather tenuous position. They are neither one thing or the other. Bisexuality is much the same. Society has for centuries been conditioned that difference is a bad thing. You really shouldn't blame it all on the Victorians! Now that conditioning is being challenged and we probably both think that is a good thing. It is just starting. Only very recently have gay people been accepted. It will be a long time yet before bisexuals, transexuals and various types of cross dressers are afforded the same basic courtesy.

It takes pioneers who are prepared to suffer for their sexuality. I sadly don't rank amongst them but every person of less determinate gender who chooses to be "out" makes it better for all of us.

As my life changes and I determine more about who and what I am, I am more and more sure that our ancestors were fundamentally wrong. I truly believe that I would have been a much more valuable member of society if that society had been open to more than simple monochrome sexuality.
Excellent comment! And of course, I just picked the Victorians. I could go on and on pointing fingers but.... well you know how that goes -tm
