... and now I know why "Lens".  (Nikon or Canon ?!?)** This was an interesting post, thank you. You, 10 yrs. Me, not much over 10 days. I'm still trying to "get a feel for" the site, and how to use it best, to meet people ... and I've started -- maybe mistakenly? -- on the presumptive basis (or basEs): - there are, as you say, MANY fake profiles - most are here looking for sex / hookups - some MAY be looking for something "longer term" - I might wish to continue "getting a feel for" the site / its users, at the free level, for awhile, before forking over my hard-earned for what might be nothing.. (ie no results / meetings, or more/beyond) - the site may be more of a "meat market" than balanced... I certainly could stand to be proven wrong, but perhaps one might understand my initial scepticism..? I wonder, then, if your 10 yrs experience in Couples Dating informs you much differently than my "newbie" presumptions?  ( .. and of course I know the old saying about assumptions..) ;]

Hi Long Jon - I think it's ironic you posted on Valentine's day. Sure as hell little romance on here - though it does spring up on occassional offline meetings eventually. If people were here for sex it would be something - most are her to look at pictures as cheap porn - flirt idly as a fantasy and then not show up. I hear this more from frustrated women who've been let down rather than men. If a woman says she will show up - she generally does. So lots of Trump like hot air blowers who are too timid to take it offline I think. My average is that 1 in 10 women respond and then show up for a session. 90% are too shy, too busy or don't like the look of me!  btw - I'm a Canon man
