what's up with the brothers and their preferences when it comes to dating a lightskin girl versus a darksin girl.

Why is there such a big deal about skin color and what makes that generality that a lighstkin girl is more appealing than a darkskin girl?

 i'm a light skinned woman and i get the opposite often...light skinned woman get a bad like were bad, deceitful, conniving, evil,etc... i can't stand the fact that i'm pre judged because of the skin on my body...come on get over it i really pisses me off...i love my brothers but their making me think about looking closer at the other side...
