Some random thoughts on blogs
Some random thoughts on blogs The way blogs are used by the ones who write and read them are probably as varied as people are most. A friend from here pointed out in her blog that it is an intelligent and insightful way to learn something about the writer and I couldn't agree more. I do also read blogs myself but have to admit I have been writing nearly none. Is it a gender thing or is it only me who is a lazy representative for my sex? And if so - why this difference, is it because of a shortcoming of emotional and social intelligence on the male side ? Someone, don't remember who - has said that men communicate to pass on a message and woman communicate to communicate - in other words that women to a higher extend have a focus on the proces as that men have the end as the main focus. And well in a social context I guess the communication has to be a mean in itself - especially if you want to get to learn an other person to know. I don't know but it seems to me when reading and commenting on blogs that they do give some good insight as to how the person is - not least because blogland is a land somewhere between the private and public sphere. A person share whatever she has decided to write about with you - but how she reply and treat not only you but also the other people responding to her blog reflect back on her. So yes you do get some insight. Will I then be blogging more - I would like to, but not a thing I will promise. Especially as I know myself. But well if some good questions or topics come to mind why not share them Will you be blogging anytime soon, and how do you see and use blogs ? |

I guess you are right it is a nice way to get some insight in to how a lot of different people think - and yes the interaction is nice. I guess we men are somewhat lazier as to posting and maybe also less creative when it comes to topics-
