I wear Davidoff 'GoodLife'....not too often and not very much. It smells especially good after I smoke one of their cigars. I think they designed it to be like that. Tobacco is one of its components. I smoke a pipe sometimes, a very unusual blend of tobacco, and I often get compliments on the way I smell from the smoke. People think it is a cologne. Usually if I tell them, they say, "Oh my father or grandfather used to smoke a pipe. I always loved being near him when he did". My gf likes the way patchouli smells on me most of all. She is jealous that it smells better on me than on her. I always thought it was supposed to be for women only. I only wear it at her request. I am sorry for your loss mizzkitka, maybe I shouldn't have mentioned it. The original 'Poison' perfume always drives me wild. Reminds me of my first really passionate love. She always wore it for me. It is amazing how scents trigger memories and associated feelings. I hope that patchouli will always make you smile with fond memories of your friend. Most people are other people... FUCKING CHARACTER LIMIT!!! ~Oscar Wilde

No outright perfumes for me. But I do have a citrus body splash I like that mixes the scent of peach and orange. Very subtle. I worked with a gentleman for two years that wore just a hint of cologne. It absolutely drove me nuts until I finally worked up the courage to ask him what it was. "Escape" by Calvin Klein. I bought it for my man, but it didn't smell the same for some reason. Different chemistry I guess.

My very first girlfriend wore Ambush, and it drove me crazy. Her favorite on me was English Leather... (yes, that was a long time ago) Since then, I get the most "mmmmmmmmm! you smell great!... what is that?" (and the look in her eye is... wow) when I wear no scent at all - just unscented anti-perspirant.... You should have to get very close to someone to catch their scent... No thank you to flowery ones, or overdone - almost pungent perfumes. To me, the perfect scent for a woman is very feminine, with just a hint of a sharp edge to it (after all - doesn't that describe a woman?)... and one must be very close to her to catch it. Perfectly done, it draws a man closer to her neck... and since she has let him get that close, that's exactly what she wants him to do...

That could be another whole post. I had all but forgotten about it, but I suffered from the same kind of smell sensitivity for about eight weeks. For me, anything minty made my stomach turn. Just standing in the checkout line at the grocery store next to the gum rack made me pale. And people using spearmint mouthwash or toothpaste, Blachh! I also developed a major aversion to sugary things, with the notable exception of pineapple. I couldn't get enough pineapple. One a day for almost four months.

I wear Ici and Coty Soft Musk. People are always sticking their noses against my neck when I wear on of these perfumes. My favorite scent that used to drive me crazy was when my ex would wear Obsession for men and wear his leather jacket. mmmmmm

I wear Fahrenheit and it works well.....smell is the sense that can make me a wildman yet can also kill the deal... The natural scent of a woman is extremely important to me... Maybe it's because I have a BIG nose!!!1
