Besties...we all have them After reading this great post from Wordsmith2004 (love the story hun, ty for sharing), I decided to post and ask you the same question. My best friends are two men that I am grateful to have in my life. My Cane and My Rooster. That is what I call them, hell my family even calls them Cane & Rooster. Rooster has known me for 11 years and was there for me when I needed him most. He is always there to cheer me on, support me, and even though we don't talk much, I always know he is there for me anytime I need him. I email him regularly when I need to "talk" to him. Even though he doesn't reply (he knows I don't need that), I know he is reading them and loves me still. The second, Cane (aka Candy Cane to my niece when she was younger) is the man that i will never forget. He helped heal me when no one else could. He was also the man that was there when I had a horrible accident (he was there, sleeping in the bed as it wasn't his turn to drive yet) and should have died. He was the one that called my family, down played what happened, and still took care of me and made sure i was always ok. Five years later, he is still there taking care of me even though we haven't seen each other in almost 4 years. They are the two best friends I could ever ask for when it comes to my guys.
