As hard as it is to pull for OSU it is even more difficult to pull for Texas. I HATE Texas. Easier to pull for OSU since they have 3 loses (2 in the Big 12).

My issues with pulling from OSU are rather lame and stem from my failed first marriage wherein my ex-husband is an OSU graduate. Throughout our marriage I tried to "like" OSU, went to a lot of games both football and basketball, but just couldn't get into the OSU spirit. The final blow came when my ex-husband lied to me about me getting to go on a trip to Cancun for my 40th birthday. He said he would pay for it if I would go with him to the Alamo Bowl where OSU was playing, with a group of couples that were also OSU fans for New Year's Eve. I went and we had fun. I found out that he did not put down the deposit for my trip as he said he would. It was almost too late for me to sign up to go, I had not been saving my own money to pay for the trip because he had always come through before...needless to say the deceit and treachery pierced my heart and made me realize that the SOB was only out for himself. He never had any intention of helping me pay for my trip even though it meant the world to me. I had a good friend that I worked with that couldn't stand my ex and fronted me the money for the trip. I paid her back slowly but surely over the next few months. I thoroughly enjoyed my 40th birthday with friends that did not include my ex in Cancun and moved forward with my life to where I find myself now...without the ex!!! lol That's why he is the EX!!!! lol  Unfortunately my dislike (ok, hatred) for OSU stems from those lies and deceit! Sorry for the book but it felt so good to share that reasoning (or lack thereof!!) Pleasure's a sin, and sometimes sin's a pleasure... - Lord Byron, Don Juan

I hope whatever decisions you make for the continuing care of your "Old Man", bring both of you some peace. And good luck with the "nose shaving". A divot may be much better than a bump. I am thankful every day that none of the following generations (myself, my siblings and my cousins) inherited the "beak" that my grandmother had. And, so far, it has not shown up in the 2 generations following.
