SUBMISSION I wrote this poem because I'm truly against abuse towards women. I believe know men have the right to put his hands on any women, know matter if you married or single. To the men who out there hurting & abusing women, WAKE THE FUCK UP AND TO THE WOMEN WALK AWAY. I once saw a wolf in preachers clothing bare his fangs and attack his wife this ravenous wolf slaughtered her self confidence as if she were sheep She was held captive by this predator led astray by this carnivore who gorged on her self esteem and devoured her dignity as if it were Sunday dinner He expected me to join his pack make a male pact he expected me to condone his disrespectful attack sit back and agree that it's a wife's duty to be submissive to her husband! He claimed that a successful marriage demands keeping your wife in check he spoke as if the opposite sex wasn't worthy of respect He preached that a man's position is head of the home he spoke as if the Bible gave him permission to beat his wife into submission I told him, You need to quit calling yourself a Christian and stop abusing your wife under the guise of religion! I looked him straight in the eye and said, No wonder why the divorce rate is at an all-time high that diamond ring you put on your wife's finger doesn't give you the right to demean her! Preacher man please stop using biblical scripture to justify your wife's degradation because I've read the good book from Genesis to Revelations and if you take a good look nowhere does it give justification for a wife's humiliation I've done my research and the bible says, Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church! Jesus wouldn't approve of your disrespectful behavior you're a religious fraud because Jesus is also my personal savior and my God is a loving God Stop using Jesus name to carry on your sadomasochistic sadistic misogynistic behavior stop using religion as an excuse to inflict verbal and physical abuse Submission doesn't mean that you can beat or mistreat your wife you need to practice due benevolence A true Christian shows his wife respect and reverence If you keep on trying to be like Ike one day you're going to feel it she's going to hit you upside the head with a skillet and you'll wake up to the taste of hot grits in your face for Sundays breakfast! So Preacher I suggest you open your dictionary and right before the word SUBMISSION there's a word called RESPECT you need to learn the definition!  HRDASHELL |
