the turning

a sheet of ice covers the wall
signaling the end of fall
snow covers the ground
and only i am there to be found
hidden in the deep white
i search for all that is true and right
searching for a maiden so fair
who wants a lovely little bear

I am a boy shrouded in mystery
a man with a multitude of history
i show only my black and white
only to begin the fight
when i show my true colors
you will have lost to my whit and might

A time when i grow
and like a flower begin to show
color and sight
shimmering so bright
from a boy to a man
like cheese from a can
i change the meal from something so bland
to a cuisine fit for a king
i desire to place a ring
on your finger
where it might linger
so that we may meet in heaven
and meet like we were seven
a place where you i can hold
and take away all the cold
so you will feel no pain or sorrow
and live in that world for tomorrow

Tomorrow is the day
you throw your sorrow away
start fresh and renew
praise the lord from a pew
repent for your sin
and begin again
time is wasting
like a turkey needing basting(by the way happy holidays!)
you have so little time
just like my rhyme
so waste away
until your last day

So i am drunk, i smell like a funk, just like a skunk
but is he so terrible, so awfully unbearable
i speak now in parables
but he could shower, takes only a quarter hour
and he won't smell so sour, just like a flower
he'll change from the caterpillar, in the wink of a miller
to a beautiful butterfly as the time flies by

Morale: I dont know, change is inherent and inevitable. You could say fate presides, but whose to say your parents wouldn't have got in a fight on a different night? Fate don't exist, i know your pissed, but you decide your future. There is a God, and he gave you free will! USE IT! There may not be a "PERFECT 100%" match out there for you, but i think you can get in the 90's. but i am drunk like i said, half bottle of jack, im a lightweight, but i can spell! hehe
