Nice Plan, Bad Planning - When bad thing turns good...

Gee... After so many nights of freezing bites from the slips of my room's door, I finally know how to (realised that I can. -_-") close the door to my balcony properly....

Finally back at my apartment. Washed up, eaten my 'breakfast' which is weird because it's 12pm now... Wonder where would that leave my lunch? I really couldn't bear to get out of that hot shower earlier... It's nice... Really nice especially when the weather is cold like this....

Early yesterday.

Somehow I made it. After some commotions, not being able to buy the ticket I need, I moved on to a bigger station and managed to make it all in time. Pretty much all in a rush to make it for the schedule though.....? I was actually thinking of at least spending a 2 days and 1 night.. But I packed for a 3 days 2 nights anyway, just in case...? Just when I was going through the commotion to get my ticket right and on time, I remember that I did not check on the night train schedule... All I remember reading on was that it's usually too very packed, and I remember how I was trying to get to my ice-cream the day before... For all I knew ice-creams could give you fats and such... Spoiling up your planning...? Well, that is certainly something new....?

I changed my plan and got my ticket. It suddenly occurred to me that if I stay in the hotel for that night, it's basically just to sleep because I would still need to go off very early the next morning. Somehow it all looked and sounded really weird when you want to spend around $220 just to do that...? So I thought I should just make it day trip there and come back around midnight! And what do you know... The train would arrive nicely the next morning! Why not...?? NICE PLAN yeah..? But wait... Just as I was going on my way there I realised something's amissed... I would only arrive there at around 3plus close to 4pm... That mean I would have less than an afternoon left to tour around...? And I'm really new to that place....?? Then I made another realisation. What if I bought a night ticket there instead...?? Then I'll arrive in the morning, have a whole day to walk around till I have to leave at night....? Damn. Too late. I was thinking... Cursing and swearing away on my way there... Hoping that I would not be too lost when I reach there (I have not done much homework on the transport system over there) and I would have enough time to do whatever I wanted to....

Cold was yesterday when I was going. But I somehow I'm getting used to such cold... Though I usually still try to keep myself as warm as possible to avoid any chance of falling sick. This is the last thing I would need here especially at this period of time. Surprising there somehow turned out to be much warmer there..

Oh before I forget, the reason why I was trying to cut down on the travel days is because I thought I have fast become a spendthrift like I used to be back in Singapore again... -_-" Which is really quite a bad habit like...? I mean, ya.... The travellings and all those are tempting, but I was like spending without remembering how much I spend anymore... Just like how I've forgotten when was the last time I had sex... But I actually need that money safe to buy a house for myself..... Oh well...
-_-'~ And I thought if I cut down on my travel days then I'll have more time to do my work yeah...?

The trip.... It was DEFINITELY WORTH IT! I was like walking and running about the whole day! Luckily for me I somehow managed to figure out the transport system fairly quickly!! (But their system is quite efficient too. ) But did I tell you how I've always preferred train over plane...?? Ya, I did.. and it's not only the custom! It's easier to get a train ticket than a plane ticket too... And to board one... More room for the seat... And most often than not, trains can take you to the heart of the next place you would like to go... Unlike plane and airport which is not always the case....

There were much to see in my short day and boy, are they beautiful or what....?? There were many huge shopping centres around but those ain't really my interest.... But I had KFC for dinner! It has been SO LONG since I last had KFC! And their chicken is really FABULOUS!!! NOTHING Singapore's KFC can even hold a candle to... SO SOFT that it is like stewed!!! MAN.....

The night was at 1st disappointing though as I ventured to check out the gay and lesbian scene.... 2 of the famous ones I found online. One turned out to be a very quiet place with nothing 'happening'. The other has closed down!! I was just wondering around for a while but no nice pub or something neither.... All was pretty quiet... Lounges and restaurants.... Well, you can't expect me to sit down, drink and say talking to myself..? I had thought of chatting up with the locals, but language was indeed quite a problem there.... And fuck! I even went into a sex club, mistakening it for a happening club with nice music! -_-'~

The 2nd part of the night was great though! As I remember of this jazz pub which I thought was somewhere hard to reach (requires transfers of train) and certain walking it seems on google map...? I went there anyway... I was needing a place to rest my legs.. Though I didn't really quite carried much with me, it was still clothes for 3 days and after a day... On the site, it's stated that they're open from 10pm to like 12.30am or something, which I thought was really weird....? Nonetheless it was already around 9plus, so I thought I could just go try my luck as it's still too early for my departure train anyway..? It was already opened before 10pm.... Turned out that it is a short walk (less than 5 mins) from the station.. In fact, it is between 2 stations so there's no way you're going to quite miss it if you know it's there...? They said there would be invited guest 'live' performance at 10ish, so I thought I should go walking around before that as I'm new to that area... It turned out that there were only mainly food and sushi and such... Well.. I'm saving up my share for back in Singapore as I'd just discovered a really good sushi place in Singapore before I left.. Of a fairly reasonable price too I think...? Somehow a weird feeling...? Just hope that it's still around when I'm back...?

Back in the jazz pub.... It was all quite packed when I returned, and I was forced to take the really front seat (which turned out to be good! ). I really love jazz... I mean I have a wide range of love for music, but jazz... Definitely one of my favourites... 10.30pm. Started. I thought to myself I have to leave latest by 11.15pm. I was worried they're not going to start in time and that I would have to leave even before that.... Contemporary jazz... If I have to say, it wasn't nice at all.... It was fantastic.... It was a killer... Guitar, drum, bass volin. A bit of vocals from them all.... It worked magic in various ways which streteched your imagination.... It was really such a marvelous experience... And being at the heart of it all, right in front of the artists... Oh, what a night... I've heard of contemprary jazz before, but nothing like being there and watching how it's done and their creation... It was beyond words.... They were so good that they could have easily scored a 90% and above for each piece that they did even under my strict criticism... Splendid.. I was feeling lucky... Somehow they managed to finish their 1st show by 11.30pm. That's when I had to rush and go, pity I couldn't make it for the 2nd though, but I was already very contented....

It turned out that my train was late, about half an hour or so? But I couldn't take the chance. The rest was pretty much just sleep....

I'm suppose to be doing my work now, but we shall see...? Got a dinner appointment to catch later...?
