Sorry, my superhero costume is at the cleaners today.. Phone started ringing this morning at 7 am...first my husband wanting to make sure that the pipes had not frozen. Outside, it was a balmy 6 degrees below zero! 7.30 am..my neighbor calls me. The radiator blew out in her car and her husband's truck blew the motor (actually it was the water pump he found out later) while was attempting to rescue her. Could I come and rescue them? Get dressed and go out to start my truck. Fortunately, it started and I let it warm up for a good 30 minutes or better. In the meantime, sister in law calls..her water is completely frozen up. We decide that it might be better for her to be here since it is not predicted to get above freezing until sometime next week. Neighbor calls back..she is now at her brother in laws with a bunch of screaming . Can I rescue her, PLEASE! Husband calls again..he's in Baltimore with a flat tire. Hate to tell him this, but he is on his own with that one. Pick up the neighbor, go to Wallyworld, pick up bottled water and cat food for the sister in law. Drive 65 miles to her house to pick her up. Call her and tell her we'll be there in about an hour. Get there, she's still packing stuff. Wait around about an hour for her to finish getting stuff ready to leave. Sister in law and neighbor decide they want to stop at Chinese Buffet on way home. Notice it is looking kinda foggy out there. Notice fog is moving..it's snow. Again. We now have a fresh accumulation of about 3 inches on top of the 8 inches that was already here. And how was your day today? |

hello, sound like you had bad day. i came in from work this morning & feed the birds,watched them awhile,play on here,read the blogs.
